Irish Census for 1911 free, online Lancashire links!

Hi

It just occured to me when I was referring to it in another post, that loads of people on this board will have Irish links and may not know about this!  It's all news on the Irish boards who of course are the experts.

The Irish 1911 Census is free in all respects and online on the link.  It's great in tandem with our 1911 for Lancashire!

All the counties are covered but they have still to add any entries submitted in the Irish language, and a few other bits.

It's worth a look for anyone reading with ancestors in Lancashire as so many had links to Ireland.  It's all free - search, results, scans of originals and trawling families by streets!

Sorry, but only a few counties are covered so far- Antrim, Cork, Donegal, Down, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kings, Wexford.
Eventually all 1911 and then 1901 will be added.

Thank you very much!  Come back all I said!  As some of my Irish aunties used to say!  I stand corrected!  I must admit I thought I hadn't seen that much go up, but it said most, a few bits missing, mainly Irish language.  I fell into the trap!  What you've seen today is much clearer.

If it's okay I'll leave the post so people are aware it's coming.  It's Irish but it's so important in Lancashire.

I'd better correct Migky's thread!
