Can anyone please help?

The Surname Ancient seems to originally come from Lincolnshire,
the name also appears in Surrey and London.

Does anyone know if the two are linked? or how do I go about finding out?

Also need help with the parents of William Johnson Ancient,
Father William Ancient
Mother Mahalah Ancient (Johnson)
I think the mother died young and William remarried, but not sure

Yes, Mahalah was buried at Winthorpe 21 Feb 1839 (22)

This looks a likely 2nd marriage

I am sure that will help put a few things into place. I dont mean to be a nuisance but do you know anything about Daisy Ancient?

She is down as a Nurse child with the Hewson family. I think this is the term once used for fostering?
I cannot find anything about her parents or date of birth.

Please do not go to any trouble, you have already been extremely helpful.
