 could anyone tell me in total how many houses were in browns lane waterford
also I cannot  locate the 1901/1911 census for johns lane I am looking for the kiely family who lived there since the 1860/1952 be gratefulfor some help ..,

Thoms Directory of 1909 lists 32 houses there.

There is no 22 in Brownes Lane, on one side was  17 houses , and on the other 15. In number 3 was Ellen o' Brien, householder, 4 John Duggan, labourer, 6 Ellen o' Brien dealer, 10 William King labourer.

I have my grandfather army papers from 1899 they give his adresse as No 6 browns lane also also my grandmother adresse was browns lane that the information on there marriage cert from 1903 1901/1911 census gives a patrick kiely of 3 browns lane there must have ben a few kielys  living there thank you for getting back to me regarding this topic my grandfather was Michael fitzgerald...

Michael Fitzgerald...age 28

Catherine...daughter...age 6
Patrick...son...age 4
Michael...son...age 1
James Kiely...relative...age 24
Michael Brazil...relative...age 20
Michael and Bridget had been married 8 years.

No. 3 Brown;s Lane, Waterford...
Patrick Kiely...age 34
Margaret...wife...age 34
James...son...age 16
Patrick...son...age...7
Eileen...daughter...age 4
Michael...son...age 3
Margaret...daughter...age 6 Months
It states that Patrick and Margaret had been married 17 years and that 6 children had been born.

Note: the numbers shown are for the number on the census form- there were no street numbers for the houses in Brown's Lane.

thank you for your help regardind the kielys from browns lane at some stage  patrick moved back to his place patrick moved back to his place of birth he was born in john lane 8th march 1875 or there abouth I cant waith for the 1901 census to come out as it might give me more information regarding my grandmother family who came from johns lane in waterfordonce againI apprecate your help ...
