Can anyone help with PR's for this family please?
I have a John Meadows Wood who married Mary Hawkins on 17 June 1822 in Gaywood, Margarets Lynn Norfolk.
John Meadows Wood was born 1797 to John Meadows Wood and Hannah nee Kidman in Norwich.
John Meadows Wood Snr married Hannah Kidman in parish of St Peter Mancroft Norwich on 25 Sept 1775. I believe this John was baptised at Walpole Chapel in 1748, and had a brother William who absconded from Royal Dragoons in 1780.
I understand that the borders between Norfolk and Cambridgeshire have changed many times, and at this time- these places were in Cambridgeshire.
Can anyone help with ANY info on the family of John Meadows Wood Snr and Jnr, or the family of Mary Hawkins who married John Jnr in 1822 please???
