From the Northampton Herald 1843.

On the 4th ult., at the Independent Chapel; Daventry, by the
Rev. Mr. Davies, Mr. Jesse York, boot and shoemaker, to Miss
Caroline Owen, second daughter of Mr J Owen, tailor., &c.,
all of Byfield.

I wonder if any one can explain what ult., means at all please.

I will need to confirm which month it relates too so the information
is accurate, because in that case it proably meant January.
