Hi
I am trying to find the death of Percy H Jennings. He was born 22 July 1897 in Camberwell, Surrey and emigrated, along with his wife, Edith, to Canada, arriving on 23 May 1920 in Quebec, final destination Sarnia, Ontario. He died sometime between 1920 and 1933, when his wife and daughter returned to England.
Also looking for the birth of his daughter, Constance Edith Jennings. We have a date of 14 Sept 1921 but nothing else. Her mother's maiden name was Edith Maud Cradduck.
Any information will be gratefully received.

If you search this site you will find a Percy H. Jennings buried in Woodland Cemetery, Flamborough East Township. You can contact the appropriate genealogical society (it explains on the website) and they will send you a transcription (for a small fee) of the headstone dates. It might only give you the year of death or the complete date.
I have checked ancestry records and so far have not found him. What did the H. stand for?
You could also try contacting the Hamilton Public library for assistance

In Ontario, births from less than 100 years ago and deaths from less than 80 years ago are protected by privacy laws. To order a certificate from the Registrar General you would have to meet their definition of next of kin. Here is a link to their website where it explains who is entitled to order a certificate:
