 I am trying to trace my Irish heritage. Great grandfather Benjamin Hardcastle Johnston came to Canada from Ireland County West Meath in late 1800s. Does anyone out there have any info on the "Johnston" clan from this area. I would be obliged and willing to exchange the littnle known info that our family has.

Welcome to Rootschat. To start with I've moved your post to Westmeath board for further help but if you could fill in few more details you might get information or suggestions quicker.

There's an (Muskoka Co.) Ontario birth for Benjamin Hardcastle Johnston in 1882, son of Robert Hardcastle Johnston and Erma James (parents also born Ontario according to 1901 census).
Also a Benjamin H. Johnston born 1856 Ontario in 1901 census.

So, you can see that you'll need to provide us with more details.
