I now have a large gedcom file with lots of information about our family links.How and where do I post it here.
It is not specific to just one area. Huh

If you like you could post your Gedcom right here in the Common Room - I'll let you make up the title. You will be our first ever RootsChatter with a Gedcom topic.

If your relations are specific to England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales, then I would suggest pehaps posting in one of those boards.

Attatch your Gedcom to your message using the "Browse..." button.

Sorry to be a pest.
Will I be able to edit or remove and replace the gedcom on rootschat.I am now recieving a lot of information from other family members from UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand.So just wondering whats the best way of doing these things.
Using Gen8 on pc for Family History . Huh

Yes, by pressing the "Modify" buton under your message you will be able to Attach another gedcom file (not sure, but you may also need to change the name of the attachment).

It seems attachments can only be up to 100kb .
My Gedcom is at least 311 kb.
Thats why I have done nothing further since my last post.I have the information on Paf  if that helps.
Not sure what you mean about the modify button.
(am I being thick.............Everybody shouts yes)

Why not perhaps split down your GedCom so that it is less than 100kb, then you can post it here...

Logic,
the modify button is on r/h side of the messages near the subject line If you wrote a message, you can modify it as many times as you wish

Any chance of raising the allowed kb for a gedcom, my smallest of
one family is 290kb

the one-person Geds that i have [from LDS ]are 2 - 15kb

unless of course we wait til we have our own family tree webspace  Grin
i dont mind waiting Trystan Wink
