Hello and Welcome to Rootschat
Can you tell us who he married and when? Names of any children who may have been born before 1911?
Cheers AMBLY

Hi Cilla
If John Pearson was born Walcott Lincolnshire, his birth would have been reg in Billinghay or Sleaford, and I couldnt see one for any of them places
but I did find him on the 1891
ref
Rg12/ 4064 folio 110 page 35
place of birth transcribed as Walatt, but clearly Walcott

Hi,
the Walcot parish records are contained within the Timberland and Martin records. The records you want are currently being transcribed on the FreeReg website. I am in the process of transcribing the burials for the 1st half of the 19th century for there and have completed the burials for the 2nd half. I will have a look on the records for the burials of any pearsons in the area. but the records should go up soon onto the website.
good luck with your search

Last year I went through the Billinghay PRs with a fine toothcomb hunting for 'my lot', and there is an occasional entry which says 'took place at St Oswalds church Walcott'. (or words to that effect). Also, some people who lived in Walcot (which is/was a hamlet and township in Billinghay parish) were baptised, married, and/or buried in Billinghay.
Beware though of Walcot by Folkingham, which is also in the Sleaford registration district.
