Georgian Rectories in Rutland
« on: Monday 03 August 09 08:04 UTC (UK) »

Hi, Everyone,
Last Wednesday I watched a programme on Channel 5 in which a young couple restored a Georgian rectory in Great Casterton so that they could live there with their two small daughters.  They did a wonderful job on it, and I was particularly interested yesterday evening when my mother showed me photographs of another strikingly similar Georgian rectory at nearby Cottesmore, where she had spent her holidays in the early 1930's.
Would the same architect have been responsible for building rectories in this part of the world, and if so, where could I find out about this?
Very best wishes,
keith
