Looking for any information in the 1891 census records for Frederick Jonathan Allen born 1850 in Wellingborough. In the 1881 census he is listed as a stone mason living in Wellingborough with his wife Emma and children Frederick, Herbert, Susannah, and Thomas. Thank you.

Frederick J signed his man, Emma her mark.

Hi I am researching my grandmothers family tree and her great great grandfather was joseph allen born 1792 irthlingborough england i believe frederick was a relation I know that joseph was married to sarah ann gross his parents were simon allen and elizabeth mee but have no date of birth or place and would be gratefull for any help that you may be able to give

Hi Nadine,
I do not know how much I can help you but this is what I have. My Frederick Jonathan Allen was born abt. 1850 in Irthlingborough. Frederick was the son of Henry E. Allen born abt. 1825 in Raunds, Northamptonshire and Susannah Morris (my direct ancestor) born abt. 1829 in Titchmarsh. Henry was the son of John born abt. 1791 in Bedfordshire and Charlotte Height born abt. 1796 in Sudborough, Northamptonshire. That is as far back as I have gone. Your Joseph and the John in my tree were born one year apart so there might be a connection. Please let me know if this is any help and whether or not there might be a connection.

Hi Nadine,
Joseph was the only one on that batch on IGI at Familysearch. I looked for a possible Simon/Elizabeth ( usually people named children after themsellves and parents) birth abt the same time as Joseph was born with no luck.
I also could not find on IGI any info on Simon/Elizabeths births.
