Bettison family in Marylebone = 1841

We have in the 1841 census Edward and Susan Bettison with children, Edward 9, Elicia/Eliza 7 and Jane 2, HO107/675/12, Fol. 16, Page 25.

I have found an Edward Bettison(the son) of the right age in the criminal registers who was transported in 1847.

Can anyone find the rest of the family after 1841 as I can't spot them anywhere.

I am wondering if the rest of the family went to Australia as there seems to be on BMDs for them.

Can anyone recommend passenger lists to search. I have tried Googling but not really sure what to look for.

I notice, from the IGI, that there are possible further children baptised to an Edward and Susan BETTISON in the area ............

Jane Jessy born Oct 1840 baptised Oct 1840 All Souls Marylebone
James born Sep 1841 baptised Sep 1841 All Souls Marylebone
Susan born Jul 1843 baptised May 1847 St Luke Westminster
William born Aug 1845 baptised Aug 1845 All Souls Marylebone
William born Nov 1845 baptised Apr 1861 St Thomas Regent Street Westminster

in case it helps anybody find anything ................... Huh

I could see a possible for Jane (no mention of middle name of Jessy though) marrying a James GLYNN and in census from 1871 onwards.

Thanks for that. Since the London records have come online on Ancestry I have found out a bit more.

You are correct about Janes marriage and I also found Susans.

I still haven't found a link to "my" Bettison family, if there is any, but it seems to be an unusual name in London.
