Hello All
This couple were my great great grandparents. I know who all their children were, and a fair bit about them down to the present day - but I have never found their deaths. Can anyone help?
I think William died about 1859,  and perhaps Elizabeth around the same time. I can find neither of them on the 1861 census.
I will be visiting the area in October, and as well as seeing where they lived, etc, would like to know where they died and maybe are buried. Some family are at St Denys.
V grateful for any assistance.
Regards
Jan

Is it possible that she is the one on Middle Rasen in 1861, aged 68 born Threekingham (not far from Scredington)?

In which case, there was a burial at Middle Rasen 4 Sept 1859 for William GOODSON (62)

and 3 May 1865 Elizabeth GOODSON (73)

Hello Geoff
I think that could well be them, she had a son farming in Market Rasen at that time. As I have never been to the area, I have no idea about places and distances, but I know she was baptised in Scredington, and her 1st marriage took place in Scredington.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
