Can some kind person look for a birth for Amelia Mary Puzzey.Amelia was christened 5 July 1857 Colnbrook Bucks. The family lived in Horton/Colnbrook area, so the registration district would be Eton.Puzzey/Puzey/Pusey are all variations of the surname

I don't know if this is any help - as you already have the baptism date - but I have Colnbrook PRs and this is the entry:

5 July 1857 Amelia Mary child of Thomas & Hannah PUZZEY of Colnbrook, Horton, labourer.
Sponsors: Wm Riddle, Fanny Riddle, Ellen Romney.

Thanks Jill that is much appreciated. Do you have marriages in the Colnbrook PRs if you do are you able to look for a marriage for Thomas and Hannah ?. I was given a date of 1834 but haven't been able to confirm this. Thanks again Jacqui

Sorry - no marriage recorded in Colnbrook for them, but their first child in Colnbrook appears to be baptised 3 Feb 1833 Mary Ann child of Thomas & Hannah PIZEY of Colnbrook in Langley, labourer. So, I'd assume the marriage would be just before?

That's a big timespan they were having children - 24 years. Either they were very young when they married, or possibly 2 different couples?

The marriage could have taken place in nearby Horton or Langley Marish.
