Sean,

Oh dear, oh dear, so you've Gardners eh?

The parishes around Stroud are swarming with Gardeners/Gardiners/Gardners in the 18th  and early 19th C's (seem about 20% of the population in some parishes) and during my researches in the  church documents for the parishes given below I've seen very many PR's and BT's from a parish giving  four or five baptisms in just a few months.

When you get back to 1812 you'll find them via http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyGloucester_(N-Z).htm#S and Parloc from http://www.parloc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/parlocdl.html will help you to find your way around.

Good luck.

Yes, in 1871 I think that the 3 Gardner children are Albert Milliner's stepchildren and Ann/Annie's children by her first marriage to Enoch. There is the marriage of an Ann Wright to either Enoch Gardner or William Thrush in 1857, Thornbury district.

Theres also the marriage of an Ann Gardner to an Alfred I Millner or Charles Weston in June 1866 Gloucester 6a 469

Marriage Index definitely Alfred, but census definitely Albert  Undecided

I think it should be Albert Isaac as he seems to be on 1861 with parents Isaac and Sarah and theres a birth registration in 1843 for an Albert Isaac Milliner.....
