Hi,

Another thread mentions the Archives of Paris online records.  I know the records are very limited, but I'm wondering if anyone can direct me to the search link.  I need 1840s marriage.

The Paris Archives have not yet put any records online but are planning to do so:
http://www.paris.fr/portail/Culture/Portal.lut?page_id=149

Ancestry have put some records online from Paris; I would suggest checking those first.

Remember that the 1840s falls into the period of records which were lost in the fire of 1871. These are photos of the town hall at that time:

Records were reconstructed from other sources as much as possible but not everything could be recovered.
