Hi Patricia,

You need to know which town/city/village and write direct to the Standesamt of that area. 
You also need to be a direct relative.

Can you give us some details (names, times and places) ?? - we may be able to point you in the right direction then Smiley

its thomas karl pritchett born 08 31 1953 in dinkelsbuhl bayern    he has asked me to get a copy of his certificate of birth   his father is american mother german
