Help please! I'm stuck
« on: Friday 07 August 09 21:43 UTC (UK) »

I've come up against a brick wall in my family tree. My G Grandmother Harriet Kennington was christened in Broughton 1/12/1831, she never married but had two children, Emma and William (my Grandfather).  I believe Harriet's parents were William Kennington christened in Broughton 18/12/1796 and Elizabeth? I would like to find Elizabeth's surname and if possible any earlier family of William.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

The IGI has her down as

Harriet Kennington
christened 1 Dec 1831
Broughton By Brigg, Lincoln,

parents
William and Elizabeth Kennington

as its an Extracted birth or christening record , it should be the right person

William KENNINGTON to Elizabeth HUNTER

(Brigg was part of Wrawby parish)
