Hiya Helkar  Wink

This is a bit earlier than you asked for but....

I have a George Pung who married a Mary (surname unknown);  their daughter Martha Pung born abt 1748 in Ballingdon (Sudbury) married a John Hitchacock 1773 All Saints church, Sudbury.

Regards

Just to clarify,

All Saints is the parish church in Sudbury that is on the Ballingdon side of the town, therefore it is also the parish church for Ballingdon.
Technically Ballingdon is in the county of Essex, on the other side of the river Stour which runs through Sudbury.  On one side it is Suffolk on t'other it is Essex.
Today Ballingdon is part of the market town of Sudbury.
So, the family were very much in the same area, although two counties are quoted in references.

If there are millers and milling involved, perhaps Windy Miller on Rootschat Suffolk pages will be able to help further, dew he know a whully grit lot about Millers in Suffolk  Grin

HI
Parent names of Joanne were Alan and Joyce Farrow from Manchester, William being Alan's father
helkar

Going back to 'PUNG' - James T was lodger in Stockport in 1871.   Can anyone find where he and family were  in 1881.    I guess he was married between 71 and 73 - can't find anything about him until the census of 1891

Helkar,

Unfortunately those names don't ring bells  Sad  Unless they have any connection to Farrows in Suffolk earlier on?
