thomas and seraphine tom(p)sett

My x3 g/grandparents were Thomas and Seraphine Tom(p)sett. Thomas was christened 1804 at Withyham; Seraphine was French, probably born c1799.  I'd like to know when and where they were married.  Theweald website gives 1822 as a possible date, but doesn't mention a place.  After they were married they lived at Withyham.
If anyone has any information, I'd love to hear from you please.

Cannot see an entry on the Sussex Marriage Index I am afraid, could have married in Kent maybe.
