I am looking for data on my George Parker. He left Southampton, Hampshire, England in 1649 with Ann and Robert Parker. A Mr. Ralph Barlow 'transported' them in 1649. Ralph Barlow was in Elizabeth City County, Virginia.
What I have been searching for is the 'Departure port, arrival port and the Ships name.' This was at the time when the Commonwealth took over the Crown (1649).
I'm not sure if my Puritan, George Parker fled in fear of his life, or what.
Would or could anyone shed some light on these questions I have. I would certainly appreciate your responces. Thanks so much.

Hi,
Try looking at Cyndi's List, there is a large section with links to various 'shipping' sites.

The Barlows were Parkers cousins. Have you seen this site because if you haven't it looks like its got your complete family history on it.
