Gremlins in my PC?

Hi all,

I'm a bit confused to say the least.

I have numerous folders on 'Family History' (split into differentcounties etc) listed in 'my favourites' and I'm finding that sometimes when I open up my favourites, all the folder contents have been opened & are mixed up and sometimes even appear to be duplicated.

When this first happened, a few months ago, I patiently sat and put them back in order - it took hours !!

Then I discovered that if I just left it, the next time I opened up the PC and then my favourites, all was back in order.

Are these Gremlins just mine or does anyone else have them?

Hi Barbara,

Are you saying that after sorting out your files into their correct folders? The next time you find the files have duplicated and are all over the place. If this is the case you have a virus and you need to get it sorted. Scan you pc with your virus scanner software.
