I shall be going to the West Sussex RO again in October.

I am happy to do simple Parish Register look-ups from available printed transcripts or microfiche. Please post on this thread with as much info as possible and I will see what I can do.

On your trip to Sussex in October would it be possible to check the following at St Mary's Westham, Sussex:

Birth/bapt Elizabeth Manser - approx 1769/70

Birth/Bapt William Milton approx 1762/63

I realise you will be very busy but if time permits would appreciate any information on the parents of these two children.

believe there was a marriage for Elizabeth Manser & William Milton circa April 1787.

Sorry Madison I won't be able to help with this one as Westham is in East Sussex Sad  If you post the details on a new thread hopefully someone will be going to East Sussex RO in Lewes at some point.

Allows you to search the extracted records on the IGI (International Genealogical Index) by parish. Westham is covered for the period you need and Elizabeth and William's baptisms are there. Still worth checking the original entries for any extra info though.

Jesse Hellyer to Emma Stevens  Marriage at Westbourne in 3Q of 1851.

Details about any other Hellyers you come across would also be much appreciated!  Grin

Cowfold registers if you have time please. 
Marriage of John Purvey to Sarah Stoner 3 Aug 1791 and if possible a baptism for the said John Purvey - presumably around 1760/70s and Sarah Stoner's baptism 8 Dec 1774.

Hi Janan

I am looking for the baptism of Mary Simmonds to Robert and Mary c1827/28 .I got this info off the 1841 census HO107/1101/1 for Chithurst.I am not sure if she was baptised at Chithurst but it should be in the area i.e Stedham/Iping/Trotton.

Could I try another one?   Henry Uwins  born Bolney c 1829.  I have the earlier Bolney register and there are Uwins there but it stops at 1812.  Can't see him on the IGI which should cover that time though.  He married on April 16th 1861 in St Nicholas, Brighton so that may show his father.

Here is your marriage - no other Hellyers on the fiche I checked but by this time marriages are all separate and don't cover a wide year range.

No luck with a baptism for John Purvey but the registers were illegible in many places so he could be there, couldn't see a transcript.

Cowfold 8 Dec 1774 Sarah Stoner daughter of Henry and Phoby Stoner

Only Bolney possible baptism for Henry was this one - no Uwins at all

18th Jun 1827 Henry S of (blank) Unwins of Bolney Miller  Cry

Only other Unwins baptism in this time frame was
2nd Dec 1829 Rhoda d of Thomas and Kezia Unwins Bolney Farmer
