On my GGGG Grandfather James Cox death certificate his place of death was at 3 Victoria Cottages, Ventnor dated 8th October 1899 does anyone know if these cottages are still standing and where in Ventnor they could be. Also if he dies in Ventnor, which is under the sub district of Godshill, where abouts could he of been buried.
His wife Jane Cox died 15 years before him at Chawton, Northwood any ideas where she may be buried, hopefully someone will know, you usually do !!

thanks all for the help, I have emailed ventnor heritage centre so will see what they have to say.
I have just noticed the letters UD under the Ventnor address does this ring a bell with anyone ??

I have had a good reply from the Ventnor Heritage Museum and a lady there has sent me some interesting info about the cottages (alas no longer there) and she also has located James Cox grave for me, so well done to all
