William Stacey/Tottenham
« on: Thursday 13 August 09 08:55 UTC (UK) »

I am hoping some one can point me in the right direction for William
In 1841 he is newly married, his wife is given as Sarah, and he has a son William. He states he was born inTottenham, his wife from Clekenwell
I cannot find a marriage or a birth for him, and don,t know where to look next, not knowing the districts of london too well!

He is 25 in 1841,and he is a cab proprietor,

Thanks Marton

Hi Marton,

People usually married in the bride's parish therefore this looks like a possible match:

Jun 1840 Clerkenwell III 31
William Stacey to possibly Sarah Pearson

You'd need to check her maiden name against one of the children's birth certs though
