Lucie, my mother in law was employed at the Alliance Box Works from 1927 to when she retired in 1973 and for a number of years was personal secretary to the Works Manager (later managing Director) Mr. R. E. Pearce, my wife has an Alliance Alders Paper Packaging company magazine Autumn 1974 works magazine if you wish I could copy the pages and email them as jpegs to you. Algy.

Vicky I have cropped and resized (reduced) them, there are 32 pages so it has taken me a while to complete, I have your email address so I will send them over tomorrow as attachments. Algy.

I am new to family history on my own account but I used to work in the Warrington reference library and we also had responsibility for the Warrington Record Office. At that time the records remained in Warrington although Warrington had been moved into Cheshire, since then Warrington got it's independence and is now a unitary authority. I do remember that we had records of local companies including the Alliance Box co. This link should help you to find further information:- http://www.warrington.gov.uk/Leisureandculture/Libraries/warrington_libraries.aspx
Good luck.
