hello doch , just thinking, could rose have been baptised in st matthews r/c church, that is the church for the short strand. the lagan village school was not far away. if you got to the web for belfastforum you will find some short strand people who might help you. william

hi doch, spoke to my wife she went to lagan village school early 1960's .there was a school in the short strand will try to find out where. are over in belfast?. WILLIAM

i dont live in belfast,so i dont know much about the city. the year rose was born was 1888.maybe the school your good lady went to was the same one the street was named after.
