Cox Edward Newspaper Reading Standard
« on: Friday 14 August 09 11:52 UTC (UK) »

My great uncle, Edward (Ted) Cox was some kind of editor on a newspaper that had offices near the Station during WW2. I  believe it was the Reading Standard. He worked on it well before the war perhaps as early as WW1. His first wife, ?Mary? died of Typhoid after about 6 months of marriage in maybe the early 20s. I believe he married his boss and/ or landlady, a French woman called Mary or Marie during WW2. Can anyone help me
confirm the title of the Newspaper offices by the Station
find names of employees from the period
find a cartoon published in that paper of my uncle Ted playing cricket
find anything about either of his marriages?
I shall be so grateful!
