Abraham CATES married 1656 Kenton

I am looking for information on Abraham Cates married Katherine Kenton 17 September 1656 St Mary, Woodbridge, Suffolk.  Could anyone tell me anything further about Abraham's parents and family.  Thank you, John Cates

Hi John

I had a look at parish register of St Mary Woodbridge, the closest surname to Cates was Cade.

Robert Cade was the curate of the parish at this time and baptised his children at St Marys, unfortunately I could not see an Abraham, so possibly not the right family.

The baptisms I could read were

Harriett d/o Robert Cade and Catherine his wife 20 July 1634
Catherine d/o Robert Cade and Catherine his wife 4 Dec 1636
Mary d/o Robert Cade and Catherine his wife 11th Oct 1640
Deborah d/o Robert Cade and Catherine his wife 11 Dec 1642

the death index has a number of Cates, but none from woodbridge and there are no Abrahams / katherines.
