Do you know anything about her at all, or are you seeking information about her e.g. baptism, parents etc.

Nell, the Surrey History Centre kindly gave me these details of her marriage in Surrey:
***** Henry Tudgey bachelor of this parish and Elizabeth Ann Retford spinster of this parish were married in this church [St Mary’s] by Banns with consent of _____ this eighth Day of June in the Year One Thousand eight hundred and twenty nine By me Thomas Hatch Vicar This marriage was solemized between Henry Tudgey [he had signed with a ‘X’] and Elizabeth Ann Retford [she has signed her name] In the Presence of George Cook, J Wilkins, [--?--] and Robert Rogerson” *****
I've got her death as 1881 in Leatherhead, Surrey, and think she was born in Milton, Hampshire in 1809.
Her parents could be Moses RETFORD and Elizabeth, but I'm not certain of this.
Elizabeth Ann could sign her own name, so her family might have been well-educated. I have read that a later RETFORD in the area was a maker of bows for musical instruments.
I'd like to be sure of her parents, and siblings, and to know, if I could, something of their occupations and how far back the family goes in Hampshire. A big ask, I guess. Any help would be much appreciated.
Jamie

There was an Elizabeth RETFORD in Boldre Workhouse in 1817 (no age is given for Elizabeth or her 2 siblings). She also listed as Eliza the illegitmate daughter of Mary RETFORD of Brockenhurst.

We've touched on this one before, although it's quite a while back.
Perhaps a bit more information available now.
Moses & Elizabeth Retford's children appear to be:
Henry 26 Apr 1807, Fawley (nee Tucker from Exbury) Elizabeth 5 Feb 1809 Milton (recorded as Ratford) John 4 Aug 1811, Milton (also recorded as Ratford)
I have found two of the illegitimate children of Mary Retford referred to in the other post: Ann and Richard, baptised a few months apart in 1810 (strange!), but not Eliza or Elizabeth. Anne & Richard are recorded as Redford.
Have you confirmed her birthplace from all the census that you can? Is it consistently Milton?

Re-visiting the URL you gave me, Nell, I see that I must've found Elizabeth was born at Milton in the 1851 census. But I haven't got any other census results for her. I have noted that she died in 1881, but can't see her on an 1881 census so she must have died before the date of the census.
If anyone had the means to check the earlier censuses for me – perhaps that would link Elizabeth with Milton, and with Moses and Elizabeth.
I do get so confused!
