Hi Andy,
Try Michael Cheesemans dorset site through rootsweb. Just remember that people like me transcribe their families when they get a PR or Bt out and post to this site. So take as you would find any other second hand resources. I have some of mine up for Allington posted on there....... Great site and some Sturminster BMD's from the Bt or PR are up there....I checked for you.

Thanks, the important starting point woould be the above listed ones I think the Deborah Zelley and others may be listed as Seally or Sealy in the 1861 Census 
Is it possible to find the birth of John Zelley/Sealy
in about 1783 or 1784 at the Potwell area.
