Hello there, Could someone do me a huge favour if poss? I'm looking for a marriage for Charles Elston and Sarah Ball, 2nd April, 1810 in Pevensey, Sussex. I'd love to know if they name their parents - or any other information, maybe even a baptism for children too?
Many thanks indeed best wishes Mandy

Hi there, Oh I see, I thought he was in the Militia, but a musician in Warwick - thought it was unususl for ladies to be in Militia? So this reads that he was a musician IN the militia.
I have found his records at The National Archives and have ordered them. They were living in Warwickshire before and after the marriage so goodness knows why they were in Sussex, there are no other family ties there.
Also, if the marriage was after Banns, what does this mean? Many thanks Mandy
