I've just seen your other posting about their daughter  Gwennie.

Do you have a marriage for John and Sarah? Also, have you looked for them on the 1911 census?

The marriage would give their fathers' names.

I see that Sarah was 46 when she died in 1926.

Is this their marriage:

Dec q  1899, Newtown, vol  11b page 318

Sarah Owen and John` Morgan are on the same page

If so, have you found them on the 1901?


Added - I can only find a couple in Llanidloes  that match on the 1901 but Sarah is a Sarah E. John is a Railway clerk and both b. Oswestry.   Also there on the 1911 free search  Undecided

Llanidloes was in the Newtown registration district though.
