Good morning Scotland, I am hoping that someone may be able to help me? I am looking for a James Jardine b. 1843 Scotland. James moved to Wigton, Cumberland. He married a Elizabeth Scott? b. 1843 from Wigton. They then moved to Workington, Cumberland.On the Family Search, I came across 3 James Jardine's from Scotland and I am not sure which one is mine. James and Elizabeth mrd in 1863 in Wigton. Kind Regards Bullamore

Jardine is most common. Do you know where in Scotland? Parent's name? Any information at all, other than his marriage?

Hi Jamjar, Right let me start with James Jardine Head 38 born 1843, Scotland .Occupatin  Lab at Iron Wks. Wife Elizabeth Jardine ( Scott?) b 1843 Wigton, Cumberland, England. Children:- John Jardine b. 1864 Wigton, Cumberland. Rachael Jardine b. 1866 Wigton, Catherine Jardine b. 1868 Wigton. Mary Jardine b.1871 Workington. Margaret Jardine b. 1873 Workington. Elizabeth Jardine b.1876 Workington. Grace Jardine b.1878 Workington. Grace Jardine mrd William Wood 1901 at Workington. Frances Jardine b. 1881 Workington. This is based on the British Census of 1881. They lived at 4, Bank Parade,Workington, Cumberland.Regards Bullamore
