Do you want to know something about them??

If so, we need a bit more information, like anything you already have, including names and dates

I cant see any birth for a Cecil Oxford in Leicestershire on FreeBMD ....

When you say 'belonging' to Uncle Len, do you mean his son, brother ...or what?

Is Len the one born 1898 on FreeBMD?
(If so I guess Cecil cant be his son, as would not be able to be in WW1!)

Ancestry have the medal card for :

Cecil Oxford
 of the  19th Hussars Regiment
Regimental Number: Private 16882

roll C/7118b page 1729
-as - as-
also 15 Cy/1B5 page 398
remarks K th A 20.01.(19)16

he served in France

it says date of entry therein 18.05.(19)15

perhaps someone with knowledge of the war ect can enlighten you to as what the meanings are.

BUT is this your Cecil Oxford?

no other details are given as it is only his medal card.

there is a Cecil Oxford who actualyl died June 1916 in WW1 too, he was born Wimborne, it couldbe his medal card Huh

then youhave Cecil Albert Oxford that Trish found earlier he was born Kingston on Thames

what is the relationship to Len Oxford & Cecil?

you say he belonged to Len, do you mean he was Lens son and not evelyns?

i founf this birth

Cecil J Oxford
Mother's Maiden Surname: Dilks
Q4 1918
 MT Bosworth
