Anyone help with this illusive ancestor of my husband? 
BARBARA McLEOD was born 26 June, 1906 Blairgowrie, Scotland, was a teacher, and died 1982 in Inverness, Scotland.  I believe she was in the services during the Second World War, and have a photo. of her at Rooseveldt Airfield, New York, c. 1945. 
No other info known except that, together with her four siblings, she was in "Quarries Orphanages" near Glasgow from 1911 to 1923 (after deaths of both parents from T.B.).
