Scarborough 1900s
« on: Friday 21 August 09 19:20 UTC (UK) »

Hi I was just looking for a bit of background on what Scarborough might have been like in the 1900s. I have just discovered a rather shocking case of child neglect in my family which made the Scarborough Magistrates Court and I wondered if poverty and neglect was a common problem there around the early part of the last century. Anything would be great. Thanks Sorcha
