I have got back to a William Kite marrying an Elizabeth Cole 1790 in Chilham, Kent.

James finch Kite (bapt.1794) married Harriet Brooker in 1824 Kingston, Kent.

I would love to find out how the 'Finch' name came about as I cannot find any marriages between a Kite & Finch
