Wisemans of Urquhart & Lossiemouth
« on: Saturday 22 August 09 23:00 UTC (UK) »

I've been reading the excellent 'The Three Wise-men' by Pearl Montrose, about Wisemans of Urquhart and Lossiemouth (and thence Australia and NZ).  I'd like to ask Pearl about some of her IDs in pre-1700 Wisemans and wonder if she still sees this board - or can any other reader who may know her kindly put me in touch?

 1.  Sorry - got the picture of Captain Wiseman too big, it should be over on the left and small ...!
2. Re genealogy of Wisemans pre 1700, I learnt today at Moray Heritage Centre that Pearl has retired from genealogy and her notes and files are now in Elgin, about to be lodged with the MHC.  So thanks, ye all, anyway!
