Singer births in 1850s

I have a Robert Singer born 1852 to father James Singer, mother unknown.
his brother Hugh Singer was born in 1849.

James was born around 1802.

They all ended up in Ashington, although Robert spent 8 years in the USA in the 1880's before returning to Ashington.

would love to find their mother's details and also the parents of James.

Any info much appreciated.

Isabella SINGER . Loughinisland of Castlenavan; died 24 Sep 1863; buried Seaforde; niece of William Blackwood; former member of Clough Non- Subscribing Presbyterian Church DDWP
With this connection with a Blackwood you should find a family tree in the Blackwood MSS in the Linenhall library Belfast, however I made the existing index in 1970s and there isn’t amention.

SINGER JAMES 1840 JAMES Antrim
 SINGER JAMES 1853 JAMES Co down
 SINGER JAMES 1871 WILLIAM Co down
etcetc
Have you tried  familysearch.com and its pilot followup
