I am looking for the baptism of my ancestor Maria Peck. The 1851 & 61 censuses both record her as born in Balderton, Notts., but checking the IGI I cannot find her. Her age was also quite consistant between the censuses, approximately 1794. In all records (including her 9 childrens' baptisms) she uses the name Maria not Mary, but it is of course possible she might be found under this name for her baptism.
Also, were there any other churches or chapels at Balderton during this time?

Balderton isn't covered on the Notts FHS CD, but I will have a look for you when I go to the Records office. If no one has done it before then.
