Hi

Can I be cheeky please  Smiley and ask if anyone is going to the Devon Record Office would they have time to look up 3 marriages for me please?  If it is possible to get photocopies of the entries even better and I understand they have to be paid for, 40p I believe which I am happy to reimburse, unless you are using a ditigal camera when you can take copies for free, I'm told.

If someone can it would be great and just in case the marriage info is: Smiley

Joseph Penrose and Sarah Thorne - 4Q 1866 - Plymouth - 5b 514
Joseph Penrose and Ann Mance     - 2Q 1849 - East Stonehouse
William Thorn and Rebecca Penrose - 1Q 1868 - Plymouth - 5b 420

I am so sorry that I cannot give a more accurate date for any of them, although I do have a date of 5 June 1868 for William and Rebecca but that doesn't seem to tie in with the 1Q 1868, unless I have written it down wrongly Roll Eyes

What you are asking for is not really possible without knowing the church in which they married and a more accurate timeframe than a 3 month window. In addition, the marriages 'may' have taken place in a registry office, in which case, you will have to buy the certificate from the registrar.
