I'm trying to find the following Thompsons anywhere in Westmoreland/Cumberland/Lancs

Robert Thompson ,age 63,born Preston Patrick
William Thompson ,age 25,born Grayrigg
Possibly both shoemakers

1871: found a Robert Thompson born 1808 in Kendal, living 26 Longpool, East Kendal he is a Linsey Weaver though.  Married to Margaret, children Agnes and Joseph.

also Wm Thompson born abt 1845 born Grayrigg but he's a baker!
He's lodging at 4 White Lion Yard, off Stricklandgate, Kendal

Thanks for the information.
I don't think it's Robert will have to look for his death.
William's a possibility. I know he was in Kendal in 1866. And Grayrigg's a small place. I haven't managed to find him in 1881.
