Remembering those care free days of childhood
|
HI All.
I wondered if anyone has photographs of their family members from our County, Northamptonshire, that they would be willing to share.
I would not use them in the public domain unless with consent, yet they would add to the information I already have from the Northampton Independent and other places.
Any would be gratefuly received if anyone feels obliged to share.

Hi David.
Either.
Some folk may not have them in uniform, but may have a photograph around that time.

I don't know it.
The only one I send anything too. I don't seem to get an answer on, unless I have got it written down wrong.
More than likely me.

Hi All.
Just an up-date.
I have just received some photo's from another kind Rootschatter.
Also yesterday another Rootschatter and GWF member gave me a priceless gift for my project.
Thank you all who are/have assisted me, you will never know how much it truly means to me.

Hi another roots chatter has re-directed me to you. I have photos taken in India before/during WW2 of the Northants regt, unfortunately they have no place or date on them, it would be lovely if you could identify anything. Of course you may use them, I could scan them & send.

I have a photo of the Freer family from Wellingborough with their son Henry in WW1 uniform with his parents and siblings, Henry was killed in Middle East March 1918 and was a member of the Army Cyclist Corps attached to 1st/5th KOSB. I also have a silk memento of his regiment he sent to his mother from Egypt.
here are some family names on the back of the photo which I added after help from Seahall. I have tried many ways to reunite these with any Freer descendants without success, maybe you will have better luck if you would like them. PM with address and I will forward to you if the postal service is up to it.
Regards James
