Morning Susan.
The 1841 meant that Charlotte was a Female Servant to a William Wagstaff who was a Draper in Stoke Goldington.
We know she married George as the marriage details were noted earlier.
Sorry to confuse you.

Hi All.
I know we went a bit of topic, yet I would like to add a couple more folk who have added to my request.
Firstly Karen (A Rootschatter also) who lives near me who I have not mention before.
Thank you.
And 2nd to Janet, another Rootschatter (and friend) as well as Karen who has lent me some photographs of her family to scan and return.
I greatly appreciate the trust given to me. Thank you also.
Sandy

I couldn't agree more Janet.
We must meet up instead of leaving things for each other all the time, yet you know what I am like more than most.

Do not know a date but from the faded writing I can only make out Alice and John Brown. She would have been my gr grandfathers sister Alice Garner. Does the outfit give a clue to the year? Susanv

Hi Susan.
I wondered if you know about the Photograph and Restoration Board here on Rootschat.
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/board,298.0.html
They can assist in repairing your photos and giving you an idea of time scale besides doing some beautiful restores etc.

No, I didn't know. Should I find that board and see if they can do anything with it? It does look as bad as it scanned. SusanV

Hi Sandy
Here is a photo taken at Shorncliffe in May 1924 of the Warrant Officers, Staff-Sergeants and Sergeants of the 1st Battalion The Northamptonshire Regiment.
I will post the names separately so as not to overload the system.
