I'm not over 40 ... I'm 39.95 plus tax!

Depending on the date, I'd be interested! Trouble is, I'm on-call, so I'd need plenty of prior notice.
Also ... if the Observatory is still a "possible", ... it's not that far from The Rocks (where the pubs are allegedly pretty good!), and there's a quite pleasant park, with not-bad views, close by.
I also liked the idea of the State Library; again, not too far from a park, places to buy lunch or a drink if you don't want to carry everything with you, and close to public transport (unless you're very game and want to drive in!). The State Library might be best as just a meeting place, though: - if enough of us get together, I suspect it might be noisier than the librarians like.
So glad I noticed this thread; will keep my eye on it, now

Dear Jenn, Wow.......would be great to meet fellow Rootschatters in Sydney, especially ones who have travelled from FNQ!
Has a venue yet been decided? The State Library has a coffee shop and there are lots of great meeting places/eateries around town.
Has a date yet been set?
Cheers
Siouxsie

Hi Everyone, retired and live Mid North Coast. Children in Sydney. Have accommodation for anytime. Just suggest a date (not school holidays) and hope I can attend. State Library is best meeting place. Close to all transport, bus, rail, taxi etc. If you drive you can still find car parking spaces within walking distance etc. Easy stroll everywhere. If you don't like the gathering you can always go back to the Mitchell or State Library and do some extra research. Love that place.
