Hi,
Iam looking for Robert & Janet Wood in the following 1851/61/71/Census.  They may have had children Hugh ,17/ James,15/ Alexander ,12. There was also a Charlotte Wood born about 1840 & a Child born about 1845 but i don,t know what sex it was. Janet died in 1859 & Robert died in 1875. I don,t know what happened to Charlotte or the other child.

Hello Scully,

Your Robert Wood, was previously married to Charlotte Douglas, 20/April/1823. St Quivox, Ayr.

The children Hugh, James, Alexander, and Charlotte, plus others were all children of Robert Wood, and Charlotte Douglas.

Robert Wood, then married Janet McGeachen, in 1845. St. Quivox.

You will find the families on freecen for 1841. and 1851.

Robert Wood, was born in England.
