Hi Angelsum69

I can't provide an answer to your query, but have you considered sending an email message to the Editor of the Lincolnshire Echo?  Here's the web address for the online version of the the Echo:

Hi Angel

I carnt help with the Robertson name, but the most likely place he may have traded in is the Central market , Sincil Street, Lincoln. Years ago they sold all sorts of stuff in it, and I can remember a fishmongers stall being there in the 1960/70's . Here is a modern day photo of it, but it hasnt changed much over the  years

As a child I lived opposite a Mr Robertson who was a fishmonger in Lincoln.I think he was the grandfather of a friend of mine called Tony Price. His mother was Florence(nee Robertson) Price but she died some time ago.Having left the area many years ago and just having returned I lost contact with the family but I am sure that the Price's are still in the Lincoln area.It might be worth trying the Funeral Directors in the area who might be able to contact the Price's from their details on record.
