I am trying to collate as much information on my mum, Joan Comrie. Joan was born 19/03/1919 in Sculcoates,East Riding. Her parents where Bostocks, Bernard and Annie and she had two sisters, Mona and Mollie and two brothers Peter and Ron. I know that Joan served in the Landarmy during the second world war and was based in the East Riding. She married dad in 1947. I hold both birth and marriage certificates for mum and father, but little else and I am particullarly interested in mums land army service. She had a close dfriend called Roz who served with her in the Land Army. Mum died in 1962 , aged 41. Can anyone assist please? Regards. picamarra.

The Only JOAN BOSTOCK i can find in b1919 was born in Nottingham, do you have a GRO index number in case i'm missing something.
nor can i find a marriage of a Bernard Bostock to an Annie.

Bernard is Bernard BERRY who marries Annie BOSTOCK on free bmd at Sculcoates in 1913.BERRY Children with mothers maiden name BOSTOCK are Ronald 1914.Mollie 1915.Joan 1919 Bernard 1921 and Mona 1927.
