Help with computer please.

I have to type a website into the address bar every time for some reason it is not saving it can anyone help me please.

I do have them in favourites but it was so much quiker when they were in the address bar

I have never used the address bar so I woulnt know about that Grin in fact i dont even have one Smiley

'it' will not save a URL - its up to you to 'add to favourites', then you can click on the descriptive name rather than a www.etc address

Sue, have you recently deleted your web history?  Whenever I do that the list of urls in the address bar drop-down box disappears as well.  Just a thought.

Yes I have just deleted my history but every time I type an address in the address bar it dosn't seem to save it

Hi Sue,

My son deleted my history at one time and I had the same problem.  Once the URL has loaded try clicking on the "refresh" button to the right (two green arrows or the F5 button) and reloading the page.  It then seems to save it for some reason.  Worth a try as it worked for me!
